Privacy policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy describes what data Stampbill (stampbill.com) handles and where it goes.
Who is responsible
Stampbill is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Viktoriia Yatsiuk, Lutsk, Ukraine. Privacy questions: hello@stampbill.com.
Your invoices stay in your browser
- Stampbill has no accounts. Everything you enter (your details, clients, items, bank details, notes, logos) is stored only in your browser’s storage (IndexedDB) on your device. It is not sent to us.
- Logos and signatures are processed in your browser and are not uploaded.
- PDF, PNG and JSON files are created in your browser and saved to your device.
- We don’t have a copy of your invoices and can’t restore them. Clearing browser data, a private window or another device means they are gone. Use “Export JSON” to keep a backup.
What leaves your device
- Exchange rates. Only when you ask for an official rate or turn on a second currency, your browser requests the rate directly from the National Bank of Ukraine (bank.gov.ua) or the European Central Bank (data-api.ecb.europa.eu). The request contains only currency codes and a date. The bank sees your IP address, as with any website, and its own privacy policy applies.
- Hosting and security. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Purpose: running the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare keeps these logs for a limited time under its own terms.
- Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you; we see only totals such as page views and countries. When you download a PDF or PNG or print, the site also counts the event with only its type, the template and the document language, never invoice content. Purpose: understanding which pages and features are used. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and message. Purpose: replying to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering requests, or steps you ask us to take (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). We keep the correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your request.
Cloudflare operates worldwide, so technical data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EU, under Cloudflare’s data processing terms. There is no advertising, no social media plugins and no tracking pixels, and we don’t sell data.
Cookies and browser storage
Stampbill sets no cookies. Besides your invoices it stores two preferences in your browser: the light or dark theme and whether you closed the storage notice. You can clear all of it in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to its processing;
- receive it in a portable format;
- complain to a data protection authority, for example in the EU country where you live.
Invoices you create are only in your browser, so we hold none of them; you can view, change or delete them yourself. For any other request write to hello@stampbill.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
